STEM not only enhance students’ critical thinking, increases science literacy, it also enables students’ innovative. These skills are essential elements leading to new products and processes that sustain our economy. The innovation and science literacy depend on a solid knowledge base in the STEM areas.
I have been involving in STEM education for more than 5 years. I participated in the teaching of STEM subjects at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. In these years, I have taught more than 600 university students, 400 secondary school students and 160 primary school students in STEM. I have also developed several projects to enhance STEM education such as the use of Mixed Reality (MR) technology to enhance student learning experience.
